WHITNEY HOUSTON: Lifetime Biopic Premiere Date Announced

Lifetime's Whitney Houston bio-pic is set to premiere at the top of the new year.

Titled Whitney, the highly anticipated film is directed by Angela Bassett with America’s Next Top Model and The Butler star Yaya DaCosta in the lead role. R&B singer Deborah Cox lent her vocals to reprise Houston’s vocal performances, including her hits “The Greatest Love of All,” “I’m Your Baby Tonight,” “I’m Every Woman,” and “I Will Always Love You.”

Whitney airs on January 17th, followed by the documentary Beyond the Headlines: Whitney Houston with interviews from close family and friends.
