The Texas man who sneaked into the White House last week was in court yesterday and entered a not-guilty plea.
Omar Gonzalez jumped a fence, ran into the White House and then sparked a firestorm of debate about the Secret Service's ability to protect President Obama. A federal grand jury charged him with three federal and local offenses. The judge yesterday also ordered him to undergo a mental competency exam. Gonzalez is an Army veteran who has been diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder. He could be looking at up to 15 years in prison.
