NOT ALLOWING PRESIDENT OBAMA TO SPEAK TO OUR CHILDREN IS SOCIALISM IN ITSELF!!
Here is my response to a FACEBOOK friend about the President Speaking to our Children in school today:
@ Tray Simmons - First let me say this may sting a little, but it's for the best!
First, I commend our President for taking the leadership position to address directly those who will one day run our country. The youth. He's not going into the classroom to read Barney or Huckleberry Finn to our kids. He's telling them that they have an enormous task ahead of them. He's telling them to FINISH school. Study hard. And be more than you can ever imagine. From the President, in particular, the 1st Black President, I can only imagine how impactful and long lasting this message will be in their lives. President Obama sees how dire our education system is and he's taking a moment to address the students. Black youth - in particular "black males" are graduating High School at about 40%! You can't go into this bullshitting. The LEADER needs to speak!
Secondly, Obama will be addressing MOSTLY "Public School Kids". Those that are directly accountable to the Fed, State, and local govt. standards. Obama's kids go to PRIVATE School and the Private School sector graduate kids at 85%-90%...we don't have a Problem THERE! Stop watching Glen Beck and listening to Rush Limbaugh...it will ROT out your brains!!
Thirdly, this is ain't gonna be on Nick @ Nite. This is not watching TV. This is basically a School conference call. Mentioning the fact that Obama's kids aren't allowed to watch TV and somehow trying to allure to the fact that he's being hypocritical for having these kids watch him on "TV" is sheisty, snake oil rhetoric!
Finally, I believe kids are to be hands off for Adult Subjects too. But when it comes to their education, they need to know how serious this is. Who else can put the "seal of seriousness" on a topic better than the most powerful man in the FREE WORLD. President Obama WILL SUCCEED in fixing this nation...Haters Stand Down!!!

I feel that "Education is the key to Success" and it is a da@! shame that a parent will proudly stand up and say "No" my child can not listen to the President of the United States about education what the hell. The very ones who were against this speech are probably nothing but pure republicans, racist who were and still is against President Obama and did not vote for him. The speech was very inspiring and he is basically saying is to stay on the right path follow your dreams and never give up and never give in. Stay in school and Educate yourself to the fullest.

the speech was AWESOME! very much needed for adults and youth! Very inspiring. Prez Obama is definitely anointed for a time such as this. All Naysayers are stupid!

on my way to www.whitehouse.gov to listen to the speach now. Wish past presidents cared enough to specifically address the youth. This president has a tremendous heart and is doing more to heal and repair this country more than any other.

I SEE NOTHING WRONG WITH PRESIDENT OBAMA SPEAKING WITH OUR YOUNG KIDS. HE IS SAYING WHAT NEEDS TO BE SAID.EDUCATION IS WHAT ALL KIDS NEED NO MATTER THE RACE TO SUCCEED IN THIS COUNTRY. HE IS NOT ASKING FOR VOTES OR PUSHING HIS VALUES. ALL HE ASKING FROM THE KIDS IS FOR THEM TO DO THEIR BEST AND EDUCATION IS THE MAIN COMPONENT TO SUCCESS. THIS GIVES KIDS HOPE.
