LIL WAYNE: Wants $51 Million from Cash Money

The other shoe has dropped in the battle between Lil Wayne and Cash Money. According to TMZ, Wayne has filed a lawsuit against the label asking for $51 million and for him to be let out of his contract with Birdman's label. And that's not all -- he's also asking to be the joint copyright owner of Drake and Nicki Minaj's catalog, too.

The suit claims that Wayne is owed the money because Cash Money violated his deal by refusing to release Tha Carter V. And since they won't release the album, he's arguing he should also be let out of his contract.

Sources tell TMZ that despite the lawsuit, Wayne is still willing to work something out with Birdman, provided he's willing to hit Wayne off with at least $10 million.

Kenny Asks:

Do you think Birdman will let this go to court and risk having to pay $51 million or will he settle first?

Knowing Birdman, even if he did lose, he still might not pay.

Wonder how Drake and Nicki feel about being pawns in this game.
