LIL BOOSIE: Explains On-Stage Illness

Lil Boosie wants to set the record straight about his on-stage illness. The New Orleans rapper became ill and walked off about a minute after being introduced Tuesday night in New York City.

Boosie, who has rapped about being diabetic before, says a miscommunication during his travel led to him arrive in New York while his insulin meds went to Philadelphia. Boosie says it’s all taken care of now, he’s got his meds and he’s ready to rock his next gig in Nebraska.

He commented, “[Stuff] happens when you have diabetes but I feel good now.”

If it’s a lie, it’s a well-crafted one. Boosie’s history of diabetes is well known.

Boosie’s first N.Y.C. performance was ruined due to some lost luggage.
