ICE CUBE: Accused of Beating Rabbi

Ice Cube is using a time-honored defense against the rabbi who is accusing the rapper of an anti-Semitic beating and slurs. Cube's saying, “It wasn’t me.”

P. Taras tells TMZ he was at the MGM Detroit earlier this month when he ran into the former gangster rapper in an elevator. He claims he told Cube to watch out, before getting stomped out by the actor’s crew.

The rabbi claims to have heard several epithets and thinks it’s due to the fact he was wearing a yarmulke. He’s filing a $2 million lawsuit against the artist, whose rep has responded “not only are these accusations a lie, he doesn’t even know who this guy is.”

He may do silly Hollywood comedies now, but you still shouldn’t mess with Ice Cube.
