DMX: Royalties Seized to Pay Back Child Support

Recently, DMX told TMZ cameras he had no reason to steal money from a New Jersey gas station, after being accused of taking part in an armed robbery earlier this month. If he didn’t have a reason to steal before, he does now.

A judge has ruled that X will have to turn over all royalty checks until he's paid off $61,000 in child support. His ex-wife Tashera is supposed to get $15,000 a month as part of their divorce settlement and is owed $140,000.

The reason any of this came to light -- a company that successfully sued X back in 2007, Amusing Diversions, caught wind of the judge's order and has filed legal papers in New York asking for updated financials. (TheJasmineBrand.com)
