CHRIS BROWN: Legal Issues Delay Tour

The Between the Sheets tour has hit the skids. Chris Brown announced late yesterday that his tour will be delayed a couple of weeks. The tour was supposed to launch at the Hampton Coliseum in Virginia, but it will be vacant tonight. Tour mates Trey Songz and Tyga acknowledged on social media their disappointment, but support of Breezy.

Via Instagram, Brown apologized, “The judge would not sign off on my travel to do the tour until I finish these last 100 hours of community service. I promise that I am busting my ass doing it everyday until it's complete. I will be on that stage.”

Earlier in the month, his probation was revoked for failing to complete the community service. The judge was also concerned that two of Breezy’s recent concerts attracted violent elements, including gunfire.

This is a disservice to Tyga and Trey. Any postponement should never have been announced in the 11th hour.

Three weeks would be the shortest delay, based on a 40-hour workweek for his community service.

Chris Brown battered Rihanna’s face in February of 2009. He’s been caught in the court system revolving door ever since.

Re-scheduling the concert venues will not be simple or inexpensive.
