Is Lil Wayne trying to pull a Beyonce?

According to Cash Money Records' Vice President of Promotion Mel Smith, Wayne is "very close" to dropping the fifth installment in his Cartrer series.  Posted on LilWayneHQ, Smith says, "It’s going to be a huge surprise to everyone, it’s an incredible album… I can’t release the date because he wants to surprise people."

Drake dropped a hint about it the other day, sending out a tweet that simply read "Carter V."

In the meantime, the Young Money compilation Rise of an Empire is set to drop on March 11th.
