Chris Brown Says He's Entering Rehab

Just one day after being arraigned and receiving a lesser misdemeanor charge after punching a man in D.C., Chris Brown is taking a surprising road today. He's announced he's entering rehab.

"Chris Brown has elected to enter a rehab facility. His goal is to gain focus and insight into his past and recent behavior, enabling him to continue the pursuit of his life and his career from a healthier vantage point."

In regards to "figuring out past and recent behavior"...we can't help but wonder if some of that behavior involves drugs.

The timing is interesting as his legal team is said to be most concerned with how this most recent charge will affect his current probation, due to the Rihanna domestic violence situation. If a judge rules Chris is in violation of his probation due to him getting arrested in D.C., he faces four years in jail.

Entering rehab could work in his favor with the judge.
Chris posted to Twitter today this cryptic statement: In order to go where u have never gone u have to be willing to go where u never been!!!! #OHB! CBE! We'll keep you posted....
*UPDATE* Chris' lawyer reportedly dropped the singer off at rehab, for anger management, around 1AM EST. His mom and girlfriend Karrueche were also there.
