2 CHAINZ: $5 Million Lawsuit for Calling Fan a 'Thot'

2 Chainz is being sued for $5 million in damages for releasing a video titled “#Is This Your Thot?” making fun of a woman who was backstage at one of his shows.

Christine Chisolm says one of Chainz friends, Cap 1, invited her to come backstage at a concert back in March of 2014. What she didn’t expect was the humiliation that came with the all-access pass.

In the lawsuit, she claims that after the clip of the rapper calling her a “Thot” on video went viral, she lost her job at a barbershop because the owner didn’t appreciate the negative attention the shop was getting. She also said she gets harassed in public and the video has ruined her reputation. The clip managed to get over 10 million views in the first couple weeks after being posted.

By the way, in case you were unaware — while some may consider “Thot” a term of endearment, many use it as an acronym meaning “that hoe over there.” The original video has been deleted, but you can still find copies of it on Youtube. (TMZ)

    $5 million seems like a crazy ask — Chisolm and her lawyer might just be hoping for Chainz to settle out of court.

    It might take a few attempts before they can find a judge familiar with the definition of the word “Thot.”
