Local News: Driver Robbed, Carjacked At Gunpoint

A driver was robbed and carjacked at gunpoint by two suspects north of downtown Nashville.

The incident was reported shortly before 6 a.m. this morning on Delta Avenue.

The victim told officials with Metro Police that he was approached by two men, at which point he was robbed and carjacked.

The vehicle was found in a different location, possibly not far from where the carjacking took place.

No injuries were reported.

Detectives found the victim's cell phone, along with other items inside a dumpster.

The suspects were described as two African American males. No one has been taken into custody as of yet. WTVF
