"At Fort Hood: Horrific outburst of violence"

In an act of violence that sent shock waves through the American military establishment and raised questions about base security, police say an Army psychiatrist armed with two handguns killed at least 13 people Thursday afternoon on the grounds of Fort Hood, the country's largest military base. www.Tennessean.com

"Police Believe Murder Suspect Hiding In Atlanta"

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Police were searching for a convicted felon Friday morning. Police said 27-year-old Ronterius Roberson is behind a deadly shooting earlier in the week at an Antioch apartment complex.

Police issued murder and attempted murder warrants against Roberson, who they believe he may be in the Atlanta area.

Police said Roberson killed Alvin Howse and wounded Clifton Broadway on Sunday night at the Willow Point Apartments. The victims had traveled to Nashville from Madison County, and police believe the shooting happened during a drug deal.

Roberson has a lengthy criminal history and is considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with any information on Roberson's whereabouts is urged to call police.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Internal Revenue Service is looking for 1,800 Tennessee residents because the government owes them nearly $2 million in tax refunds.

The IRS recently released the names of every taxpayer who has yet to receive money.

"Beyonce in Vegas"

Beyonce could be sitting pretty if a deal that her father/manager Mathew Knowles is rumored to be putting together is actually true. Reports say papa Knowles is negotiating a residency for her at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas that would bring her 500-million dollars over a five-year period. With her signature dance moves and myriad of costumes, Beyonce could easily work the Vegas crowd. A rep for the singer tells us she has "no information" but did not confirm or deny the deal.

Jay-Z and Alicia Keys had so much fun doing "Empire State of Mind" they've re-visited it with "Empire State of Mind Part Two." The new track will be featured on Keys' new disc, The Element of Freedom, due December 15th.
