Yo Gotti's "Law" Video Creates Uproar

Yo Gotti's video for "Law" is being decried by officials after the "Down in the DM" rapper filmed the visuals in Georgia's Henry County Courthouse.

Representatives tell WSB-TV that Yo Gotti did not receive permission to film the "Law" video and they are appalled at how the district is portrayed. The song, which features E-40, is filled with profanity and the video, which tells the story of a woman suing the rapper for her burnt weave, shows scantily clad women. Evidence used in the fictional case includes a pair of women's underwear and bottles of alcohol.

Among those criticizing the video are County Manager Lyndon Bonner and McDonough City Council member Sandra Vincent.

"Clearly, it does not represent the standards of what's Henry County," Bonner says. "It was not authorized by the Board of County Commissioners, nor my office."

The news outlet says that the county is working on implementing new procedures to monitor future video projects.

The "Law" video was posted two weeks ago and has 2.7 million YouTube views at the time of publication.
