3 Injured In Shooting At MTA Music City Central Bus Station

Metro Nashville Police officers have responded to a shooting at the Nashville MTA Music City Central bus station that injured three people.

Officials said three people suffered minor injuries during the shooting around 3:45 Monday afternoon, and each of them were taken to area hospitals.

Witnesses said they heard multiple gun shots. Officers have detained two people for questioning.

Police have also taped off a portion of Charlotte Ave. including a MTA bus that was being unloaded at the time of the incident.

The bus station is located at 400 Charlotte Avenue near the Tennessee Performing Arts Center, and because of its proximity to downtown a crowd has formed at the scene.

It was unclear what led up to the incident. We have a crew at the scene and will update the story as soon as more information becomes available.
