Victoria Wilcher story was a HOAX???

Remember the recent story of that 3-year-old Mississippi girl who was mauled by a pack of pit bulls and then kicked out of KFC when other customers expressed discomfort with her appearance? It turns out the whole yarn was an elaborate hoax. In an exhaustive investigation of the alleged incident, the Laurel Leader-Call pored through transaction records, Facebook posts and surveillance video to establish that little Victoria Wilcher was nowhere near a KFC on the day she was supposedly jilted. Publicity from the incident has generated more than $135,000 in online donations designated for Wilcher's medical care, with $30,000 coming from KFC.
