As for women being searched, I went to Lombamba's a couple of weeks ago and felt molested after the search. Very uncomfortable. All the women n my group shared the same thought...I guess it depends on where u go...Not many options for the 35 & up crowd.
How unfortunate...I agree with everything that's been said. It's sad but downtown offers variety without the risks of me loosing my life. As much as I'd like to support our brothers and sisters doing their own thing, it's hard when something like this is the result...How sad for the family...and the club...
One should never buy a church and turn into a club anyway. Everything that's been in that building has had to deal with some kind of downfall. I've never been for this very reason...Ignorance always seems to show up at the wrong time and place. How unfortunate...
I agree with all comments It it sad that our young Black man is just looseing their lives
and not relizeing whats really going on in the world. makeing police job very easy.I really feel sorry
for them. as we older people growning up we had progams, were we work in the summer.durning school. now its kids haveing kids and no one to listen to. our partens could beat us. with the way the law is today we can't do anything to our children. yes I have a lot to say and no one to listen. our kids need us.celebritys put money every were eles. congress cut all these programs SO ASK YOURSELF WHAT IS IT FOR OUR YOUNG PEOLPE TO DO. but joining these gangs, killing up people.yes the clubs or full of kids I use to go out. But hell its not safe. I would love to have a older folks club to go to. But who ever own these clubs or out for money. our club age range need to start @ at 35 and older. just so we can stay out pass 10.00 pm if we want to.
I go clubbing once in awhile and security tends to be a joke. Just check your ID and that's it. Gun violence will always be an issue as along as the drug trade is lucrative and repeat offenders get off with little to no time.
I don't understand folks that get upset over a pair of shoes. Everybody knows these clubs tend to be crowded, so the odds of getting stepped on are high.
I'm not dumb or anything, but I just have to ask--WHY???? do ADULTS have to be "searched". I am a responsible, mature ADULT who would like to go out and have a good time WITHOUT having to be "searched" every damn place I go to spend my hard earned money be it a high school/college basketball/football game, to the club on Friday or Saturday night, to the Titan game on Sundays etc. Damn, this is nonsense to the highest level!!!!
