As for women being searched, I went to Lombamba's a couple of weeks ago and felt molested after the search.  Very uncomfortable.  All the women n my group shared the same thought...I guess it depends on where u go...Not many options for the 35 & up crowd.

How unfortunate...I agree with everything that's been said.  It's sad but downtown offers variety without the risks of me loosing my life.   As much as I'd like to support our brothers and sisters doing their own thing, it's hard when something like this is the result...How sad for the family...and the club...

One should never buy a church and turn into a club anyway.  Everything that's been in that building has had to deal with some kind of downfall.  I've never been for this very reason...Ignorance always seems to show up at the wrong time and place.  How unfortunate...

No.... they don't search the women..... in most these clubs.... there have been many occasions whereas women smuggle stuff in the club for these imbeciles... with they dumb asses.....

Its so sad that people can't go to the club anymore without taking the risk of getting killed while they are just trying to unwind or have a good time....

Condolences to the family.... on their sudden loss

I wish Nashville had more clubs tha catered to the mature crowd. Even the Elk's has become a stage for ignorance on Saturday nights ow. I use to like going there and hearing old school music, but the last time I went they had to spray mace to clear it out in there. This weekend was my first time going out in months because I hate being in the same club with 19 year olds....stupid ones at that

Everything you said, Kenny, is on point.  Additionally: Clubs need to stop advertising that they're catering "strictly for the grown & sexy" when the reality is that they''re admitting nineteen-year-olds wearing sagging pants.  Most "Black" clubs here undergo a metamorphosis at about. 10:30PM.  Grown people start rolling in from 6-7PM donning casual Friday type of attire from their JOBS.  They have their fun and start leaving around 10:30.  Then the youngsters start rolling in underage and underdressed.  The music changes to suit them; They drink beyond their tolerance level; and Ignorance blooms.

I go clubbing once in awhile and security tends to be a joke.  Just check your ID and that's it.  Gun violence will always be an issue as along as the drug trade is lucrative and repeat offenders get off with little to no time.

I don't understand folks that get upset over a pair of shoes.  Everybody knows these clubs tend to be crowded, so the odds of getting stepped on are high.

I'm not dumb or anything, but I just have to ask--WHY???? do ADULTS have to be "searched".  I am a responsible, mature ADULT who would like to go out and have a good time WITHOUT having to be "searched" every damn place I go to spend my hard earned money be it a high school/college basketball/football game, to the club on Friday or Saturday night, to the Titan game on Sundays etc.   Damn, this is nonsense to the highest level!!!!

I'm really frustrated with "our ppl". We need to change our mentality! I have a program for males 18-24, midnight basketball, purposely playing on weekend nights to keep them out of trouble. They love it but it has expenses. I set up fundraisers to help keep the program goin but I always hear the excuse "I ain't got it or things are tight" but they turn right around n spend money on liquor n clubs every weekend.

The cost of losing a life is priceless. Which one do u want? Plant a little seed n save many lives or hold on to it thinking you'll come out on top? I'll continuously pray for support in our community. There's a reason many of "them" are successful. "they" know how to reinvest in "their" own community!

If ud like more info, pls ck out our website. Thx in advance!
