Tracy Morgan Sues Walmart

Comedian Tracy Morgan along with 3 other people are suing Walmart over the deadly limo bus crash that happened June 7, 2014.

Kevin Roper was driving the Walmart truck that collided into Morgan's vehicle. The truck driver was said to have had no sleep in over 24 hours. Laws clearly state the truck drivers must sleep within a 24 hour period (a break every 10 hours).

The Walmart truck was speeding when it hit the rear end of the limo bus.

Morgan stayed in the hospital several days after the accident with broken ribs, a broken nose and a broken leg. His personal assistant, Jeffrey Millea and comedian, Ardley Fuqua were also injured in the collision. His friend and comedian, Jimmy McNair, died in the crash.

Roper has been charged with vehicular homicide and assault by auto, to which he has enter a plea of not guilty to both.
