Top 5 Stories - Taraji P. Henson to Marry/Joe Buddens to TV/50 Cent and Wiz Khalifa to MMA???

TARAJI P. HENSON: Engaged to Former NFL Player

Taraji P. Henson got engaged over the weekend to former NFL player Kelvin Hayden.

The 47-year-old Empire star tweeted early this (Monday) morning, "I said yes y’all!!! He started with the Cartier love bracelet BUT that was my #MothersDay gift and then he dropped to his knee and I almost passed out!!!"

Henson had been very quiet about her relationship with Hayden, which is believed to have been going on since 2015. It wasn't until last December that she actually confirmed their status.

The 34-year-old Hayden played 10 seasons in the NFL as a cornerback for Indianapolis, Atlanta and Chicago. He retired in 2014.

JOE BUDDEN: Headed to TV

Joe Budden has signed on the dotted line with Diddy’s Revolt TV.

The rapper and controversial talk show host famously parted ways with Complex earlier this year. In a new press release, Diddy announced, “Joe Budden is officially part of the Revolt family.”

Budden is the host and producer of a new show called State of the Culture. He promises the series will feature “raw, unfiltered, and informative debates and interviews where [he] digs deep with prominent celebrities, artists and personalities." (Billboard)

WIZ KHALIFA: Stepping Into the Ring?

Wiz Khalifa says he will step into the Octagon -- if the check is right.

TMZ caught up with the Pittsburgh rapper at an airport, where they asked him about his recent MMA training. Paparazzi wanted to know whether Wiz would become a pro fighter. He shrugged off the idea of a career change by saying that he “likes rapping better.” Still, he says he’d be willing to shoot the fair one for the right payday. “You gotta pay me a whole bunch of money to get me to fight.”

50 CENT: Planning MMA Debut?

50 Cent might be getting ready to knuckle up.

The rumors started earlier his month, when Curtis called out MMA vet Quentin “Rampage” Jackson in a since-deleted Instagram post. The caption said, “Don’t get it [twisted], I’m the baddest Jackson around… Now if we can get the money right, Rampage got a problem on his hands.” Since then, he posted a picture of a meeting with Bellator MMA president Scott Coker. The caption said, “I’m busy working on something that’s gonna blow your mind.”

The latest update is 50 Cent popping up cageside at the Bellator 199 event this past weekend. Coker told MMA Junkie, “There’s no business relationship between 50 and us. He came as a fan.” But 50 continued to fuel rumors by posting another picture with the Bellator president with the caption, “If we can get this right, it would be big.”

ROYAL WEDDING: Meghan Markle Wants to Walk Alone

Meghan Markle wants to walk down the aisle alone at her wedding on Saturday now that her father has backed out and will not attend the ceremony.

Kensington Palace was "blindsided" by Thomas Markle’s photo scandal and sudden withdrawal from the wedding. They learned about it like the rest of us -- by reading about it on TMZ. He also checked into a hospital claiming he suffered a setback after a heart attack, last week.

Now it’s up to Prince Harry to play Meghan’s advocate and convince Queen Elizabeth that they’re about to break yet another Royal tradition.

The Palace has considered one of Harry’s relatives to walk Meghan down the aisle. His brother and Best Man, Prince William, is the logical choice. But Prince Charles might do it. Harry’s grandfather, Prince Philip, just returned home from hip replacement surgery. If the 96-year-old granddad “walked” Meghan down the aisle, the ceremony could go well into Sunday. (People)

"That’s not the Stacey Dash I knew. An alien came down and swooped her up and kept this body of a pretty black girl with green eyes. The Stacey I know, she no longer lives there."
