TOM BRADY: Suspended for Four Games Over "Deflategate"

Letting a little air out of some game balls will cost the New England Patriots dearly. The team's star quarterback Tom Brady was suspended for four games by the NFL on Monday. In addition, the Patriots were fined $1 million and stripped of two draft picks, including a first-round pick next year.

The suspension, fine and penalty come after an NFL-commissioned report was released Wednesday that said it was "more probable than not" that Brady knew that New England staffers deflated footballs to give the star quarterback a better grip on balls thrown in the January 18th AFC championship game against the Indianapolis Colts.

The report also said that it was like that New England staffers were "involved in a deliberate effort to circumvent the rules."

This isn't the first time the team has been busted from breaking rules. Back in 2007, the NFL fined the team and coach Bill Belichick and took away a first-round draft pick after a New England staffer was caught videotaping signals used by the New York Jets during a game at the Meadowlands. Say What:

Does the punishment fit the crime?

They still won the SuperBowl tho……

It's the NFL's fault for allowing teams to handle their own balls.
