I applaud this brother for his candor and honesty

Police continued to investigate two Sunday night shootings at the same apartment complex. Police responded to a call around 8:30 p.m. Sunday at Willow Pointe Apartments on Hickory Hollow Terrace. Officers said two men were shot in the parking lot. It was first reported that both victims were taken to the hospital in critical condition. Monday morning, police said that one man died on the way to the hospital. The other victim was shot in the lower body, and he arrived at the hospital in critical condition.

Witnesses said they saw a black Nissan leave Willow Pointe Apartments immediately after the shooting. Police said they believe they found that Nissan at Hickory Trace apartments on Hickory Hollow Place.

MARIAH CAREY: No Baby Blues?

Being childless is reportedly taking a toll on Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon's marriage. Bossip.com cites a so-called source close to the couple saying Mariah's disappointment over not being pregnant has led her to drink, sometimes to the point where Nick has to clean up after her. The source adds that although the two are still very much in love, Mariah's "excessive partying and drinking has taken a toll on their fresh relationship." Mariah's reps didn't return our calls for comment.

DRAKE: Reacts to Weezy's Legal Troubles

Drake says Young Money boss Lil' Wayne is too busy with his burgeoning empire to worry about his upcoming year-long prison sentence. Drake tells Rap-Up.com, "He's kinda more concerned about getting as much music as he possibly can, so that when he's in there, people are still satisfied musically with Lil' Wayne product, and that's just the mind of a true businessman."

Drake doesn't think you'll see a crying Weezy on your T-V anytime soon. "Wayne's not usually gonna open up emotionally and tell you how he's really feeling about anything," but when the two shoot the video for Young Money's "Bedrock" this week, he says, "hopefully I'll be able to gauge where he's at mentally, but I think he's all right."

50 CENT Getting the BS Started Again

Rapper 50 Cent has a new album coming out on November 23rd and word is that he's about to get some major buzz going. We just spoke to someone close to G-Unit who says that former Jay Z pal Beanie Sigel is going out on the road with 50 as he does his promo.

For those of you who've been living under a rock, Beanie released a diss track on Friday going hard against Jay Z.
And according to our snitch, he's gonna be dropping some major bombs against Jay leading up to 50's album release.
Wow, that's pretty dirty of 50 to instigate the drama. But hey, anything to sell records, right?

Well the news isn't all bad for Jay Z because we've learned that he's just signed a new artist to his label. According to one of our industry sources, Lil Kim just got signed to Jay Z's new Roc Nation label.

That's a great move for Kim, and it would have been a good move for Jay too if he would have, I don't know . . . done it about 10 years ago.

A 41-year-old Johnson City, Tennessee, man was arrested after cops discovered that he'd been tampering with parked cars in order to charge his victims for the repairs.

Christopher Walls would disable the cars and then approach the victims, saying he was a mechanic. He would charge between 40 and 200 dollars for the fix-it jobs. Police are urging citizens who think they may have been victimized to come forward.
