DRUNK ON HALLOWEEN - CATCH A FREE RIDE

Beginning at 7 p.m., the Metro bus system will offer free rides on 15 of its most popular routes. The free rides will last as late as 1 a.m. on some routes. Miller/Coors is compensating the Metro Transit Authority for the rides.

Free-ride programs have been offered for many years in Nashville for other holidays, such as St. Patrick's Day and New Year's Eve.

Miller/Coors has had free transit rides for those holidays for two decades in St. Paul, Minn., and Milwaukee, providing more than 1.8 million rides. It expanded the ride program through mass transit to the Kentucky Derby in Louisville this year, said Diane Wagner, manager of alcohol responsibility for Miller/Coors.

The "Gateway to Heritage" project, which is being designed by former Tennessee Titan Eddie George's landscape architecture firm, EDGE, could lead to private investment on Jefferson Street and 28th Avenue near Interstate 40. "This project is a direct investment in North Nashville, an investment that we hope will spur new economic development for this community and for our city as a whole," Mayor Karl Dean said.

The federal government is contributing $608,000, which will be administered by the Tennessee Department of Transportation, to the project's first phase. Metro is putting $152,000, a 25 percent matching grant, into the effort.

TAMEKA RAYMOND: Still Stuck on Usher

Despite audio of Usher's 9-1-1 call saying otherwise, Tameka Raymond still denies she and the Grammy winning singer are on bad terms. She tells the new issue of People, which hits newsstands today, "None of that happened...[We're] Cordial. We're not beefing. We'll be excellent co-parents. He sees our sons every week [when he's in town]."

Raymond says the biggest disappointment about the end of the marriage is thinking of "what should have been. I saw us growing old together. The world is probably saying, 'She's already old!'" Asked if she still wanted to be with him, Raymond claims, "I don't know."

MATHEW KNOWLES: Let LeToya Be Already

Insiders claim that Mathew Knowles is still concerned that former Destiny's Child member LeToya's shine doesn't get any bigger than daughter Beyonce's. Bossip-dot-com reports, "A source in the Knowles camp tells us that Mathew truly despises LeToya Luckett and has been [pushing] D-J's at radio stations not to play LeToya's music." Knowles' camp did not return our calls for comment.

THE GOOD NEWS

Mary Mary's Tina Campbell welcomed a new baby boy on October 20th. Sister Erica tweeted about her nephew on Twitter, saying, "Hey Tina had a healthy baby boy!!! He was so hungry she had to feed him before they weighed him. T-J was seven pounds, 18-and-a-half inches." Tina is married to percussionist Teddy Campbell, who is the house drummer on American Idol and a member of the gospel quartet The Soul Seekers.

Bishop Thomas Weeks -- who infamously assaulted his then-wife Pastor Juanita Bynum in a hotel parking lot last year -- recently married again. Weeks and Prophetess Christina Glenn were wed in a private ceremony before church members and close friends.

Dr. Bobby Jones of B-E-T's Bobby Jones Gospel will host a charity event in in Richmond, Virginia on November14th. The Gospel Choir Competition Benefit Concert will assist in building homes for homeless families.

It looks like Jay Z just lost another friend.

According to reports, Jay Z's former right hand man Beanie Sigel is getting ready to air him out in a new diss track.

For those of you who don't know, Jay Z and Beanie have been friends for more than a decade, and Beanie was one of Jay's most loyal artists. What happened? Word is that Beanie's upset with the direction his career has taken in the last few years, and he blames Jigga for it.

And it gets better. According to reports, Beans is set to release an entire mixtape exposing all the shady things that Jay Z allegedly did since they've known each other. Now I am interested to hear about what Jay Z has done in his past, but let me get this straight... Beanie Sigel's career stalled because of Jay Z? Ahhh, okay. Glad he cleared that up. And to think, all this time I thought it was because of his lack of talent.

CNN'S DOBBS' HOUSE SHOT UP

C-N-N's Lou Dobbs has gone public with the story of how his house was recently hit with gunfire. Dobbs wasn't home at the time, but the one bullet recovered apparently hit the house near his wife Debi. The incident happened on October 5th, and apparently followed several weeks of threatening phone calls made to Dobbs home over Dobbs very public stand against illegal immigrants. Dobbs lives on a 300-acre farm in rural northwestern New Jersey. I am very saddened by this (smirks)....Moving On....
