MURFREESBORO MAN CHARGED WITH KILLING HIS WIFE
William Jones, 34, reported his wife, LaShawn Anna Jones, missing Oct. 5. A Murfreesboro Police Detective charged him with her murder Tuesday.
Charges of abuse of a corpse were also filed against William Jones, who has a “hold status” at the county jail for another charge against him out of Michigan. Jones’ bond was set at $100,000, according to a booking officer at the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center, but he cannot be released due to the hold.
“Detective Ava Radley of the Murfreesboro Police Department Criminal Investigations Division arrested William M. Jones ... late Monday,” said Murfreesboro Police spokesman Kyle Evans. “ According to the arrest report, an interview with Mr. Jones led detectives to believe he had murdered Lashawn Jones and disposed of her body.”

Metro Council voted to allow Sheriff Daron Hall to keep the 287(g) program. How the vote was carried out on Tuesday, created controversy of its own.
A vote to nix a council discussion on the 287(g) program prompted a hasty exit by the anti-side, and an explanation from one council woman about how the system had failed them.
"That was inappropriate for us not to be able to talk about this because the community should know why we either support it, or we don't," said Metro councilwoman at-large Megan Barry.
In protest, Barry switched sides and joined two other council members in voting against the program that moves to deport immigration offenders in Davidson County.
RIHANNA: New Album Next Month
Yesterday Def Jam officially announced a November 23rd release date for Rihanna's new disc, Rated R. The follow up to her 2007 smash Good Girl Gone Bad leads with the Ne-Yo-penned "Russian Roulette." A video for the song, directed by Anthony Mandler, will premiere in primetime on A-B-C at a later date.

Chris Brown has released dates for a series of dates he's dubbing his Fan Appreciation Tour. The 16 dates released yesterday start on November 14th in Houston and wrap December 13th in Philadelphia. The tour is the first time Brown is touring since his altercation with now ex-girlfriend Rihanna in February. A portion of the proceeds from the tour will go to the charity Best Buddies International, which provides jobs and opportunities to people with developmental disabilities.

Sexting has become a phenomenon this year, with more and more people willingly sharing explicit photos of themselves from cell phone to cell phone. Those willing participants may be willing to share the photos with the intended receiver, but probably not with the intended receiver's friends. But before you go "sexting" some racy pictures of yourself, it's a good idea to think about how much you trust that person to keep it to him or herself. Al Reynolds is doing good things in his community despite what people are saying about him.
Fathers going too hard actions speak loud volume to me. It sounds like both of these men wanted their daughter/step daughter all for themselves. Something is not right in both incidents.
