Madison Teen Suspect Released
With all the Breaking and Entering of homes, you'd think the police would keep any suspects "on ice" but apparently that not the case. A teen is suspected of breaking into several homes and he's free to roam because of a loop-hole in juvenile law. A Metro councilman is demanding something be done. In Madison's Montague neighborhood, there have been burglaries in broad daylight. "We've had four burglaries in the last five to six weeks," said Madison homeowner John Wade. "We don't understand why they can't arrest him." Metro detectives are looking into the burglaries, reportedly committed by juveniles. Neighbors have a picture of one of the suspects, a 14 or 15 year old boy, now charged with aggravated burglary.
"The kids should've been at school," said Madison homeowner and burglary victim Mike Gilbert. Investigators might have the evidence to bring a new charge and a new court date. The problem is the teenage suspect is out to re-offend.
Nashville Snags The NCAA Mens Basketball Tournament...Yaaayy!!
The NCAA announced Monday that 2012 first- and second-round games will be played at Sommet Center on March 16 and 18. It will be the fourth time the event has been in Nashville since 2000 and the eighth time since 1982. The Ohio Valley Conference and the Nashville Sports Council will serve as hosts.
"It's a very competitive bidding process, so that really speaks well for Nashville, the OVC and the Sports Council,'' said OVC Commissioner Beth DeBauche, whose first day on the job was Monday. The event had an economic impact on the city of more than $8 million in 2003 and again in 2005, Nashville Sports Council Vice President Dave Herrell said.
RUSH LIMBAUGH MUST BE BACK ON THOSE PILLS
I know a lot of times you don't spend your time monitoring conservative talk shows. But Rush Limbaugh is such a dangerous man because he has the ability to incite IDIOTS! Remember my saying: Never Underestimate The Power Of A Group Of Stupid People!
In one of probably hundreds of school bus incidents that day, a white student was roughed up by two black students while onlookers egged them on. Local law enforcement tentatively declared that the incident was racially motivated. The next day, national conservative blog the Drudge Report made the incident its top story. The same day, the AP reported that law enforcement was now saying that race was not a factor in the fight. (The aggressors objected to the boy's choice of seats.) The next day, Limbaugh discussed the incident, and even after a caller reminded him that the police were reporting that race was not a factor, said:
In Obama's America, the white kids now get beat up with the black kids cheering, 'Yay, right on, right on, right on, right on.' I wonder if Obama's going to come to come to the defense of the assailants the way he did his friend Skip Gates up there at Harvard.
This is the kind of stuff being said when you're not paying attention. Rush is pushing the Race Issue!!

Johnny Depp Pirates Movie In Trouble
Though the movie is still in its pre-production stages, there could be some trouble ahead for getting the next Pirates of The Caribbean movie off the ground.
And that trouble's name is Johnny Depp.
Though he surprised a packed house at the Disney D23 expo last week in full Captain Jack Sparrow attire to promote the next film, the sudden departure of Disney chairman Dick Cook has the actor dismayed about the continuation of the project. This past weekend, he opened up to the LA Times about the move, saying that there is "a fissure, a crack in my enthusiasm at the moment."
Dick Cook was the reason Johnny had signed up for the Pirates projects from the beginning, and with him gone, and with new suits in place and the script only provisionally complete, Johnny's commitment to Pirates may falter out of loyalty to his friend.
No Johnny, no Jack, no movie.
