The Show 09-01-09: Atlanta's First WHITE Mayor??/McCauly Caulkin is Michael Jackson's Kid's REAL DADDY?/Little MILES from Moesha ain't Little MILES No Mo!

ATLANTA COULD SEE FIRST WHITE MAYOR IN DECADES

Atlanta may elect a white mayor for the first time in 35 years. Councilwoman Mary Norwood, who is white, is among the front-runners in the November 3rd election. She's facing Council President Lisa Borders and state Senator Kasim Reed, both of whom are black. Maynard Jackson became the city's first black mayor in 1973, solidifying African-American voting power there, and the city has elected black mayors since. Blacks have been the majority population and voting bloc in the city for decades. However those demographics have changed in recent years and experts say black voters may see things differently these days. David Bositis of the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies in Washington says black voters tend to be "pragmatic" when voting and support politics that are going "to work." He tells the Associated Press, "It's perfectly fine if a white mayor gets elected with black support. On the other hand, it's not a good sign if you have ... a white candidate getting elected with white votes. It's an indication of polarization."

CHRIS BROWN....SHUT THE &^$# UP MAN!!!

In an interview with Larry King, Chris Brown says he doesn't remember hitting Rihanna. "I just look at it like, wow. I'm in shock, because that's not who I am as a person... I don't know what to think. It's just like, wow... I can't believe that that actually happened." The interview is set to air tomorrow night on C-N-N. Brown later recanted the statement to People magazine, saying that he "misspoke" and it was the fifth time he was asked about his memory of the attack during the hour-long interview. "The first four times -- or how ever many times it was -- I gave the same answer, which was that I didn't think it was appropriate for me to talk about what happened that night. The fifth time -- or whatever it was -- I just misspoke. I was asked, 'Do you remember doing it?' and I said, 'No.' Of course I remember what happened. But it was and still is a blur. And yes, I still can't believe it happened because it is not me or who I am or is what happened like anything I have ever done before." Brown also told People he still loves Rihanna. "I never fell out of love with her. That just wouldn't go away."

THE (JACKSON) KID IS NOT McCAULAY'S SON

McCaulay Culkin isn't the biological father of Michael Jackson's youngest son, Blanket, the actor's rep tells T-M-Z. Britain's Sun tabloid reported that the Home Alone star donated sperm to help Jackson father a child with an unknown surrogate mother. The paper quoted a source as saying, "This isn't just chitter-chatter, even Culkin suspects he's Blanket's father. So many names have been mentioned as prospective dads, and this is probably the wackiest yet. But Jackson and Culkin were best friends. He was one of the few people Jackson really trusted and Mack never let him down. Really, Jackson idolized him -- that's why he asked Mack to donate sperm. Deep down, I think he always wished Mack was his son. Creating Blanket was the next best thing." But Culkin's rep, Michelle Bega, tells T-M-Z, "The inquiries are too preposterous for us to even acknowledge."
