MAXWELL: Kicks Off Tour Tonight

Maxwell kicks off his Black Summer's Night tour tonight in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The much-missed singer tells the Grand Rapids Press, "Oh man, I'm so excited, so thankful. Who knew that people would care or still be around?" Fans can expect a robust show, Maxwell says, "It's so weird to look at the set list -- I just remember when I started out, I only had like four or five songs that people would know. Now, there's like 14."
The Black Summer's Night disc arrives July 7th.
