SYNPOSIUM VOICES FRUSTRATIONS WITH OBAMA
Thousands of African-Americans convened at Chicago State University over the weekend for the We Count symposium, organized by Tavis Smiley. Attendees complained that President Obama's has failed to develop programs targeting the hardest-hit communities. Minister Louis Farrakhan, whose Nation of Islam provided security, declared, "President Obama does not run this country -- he has been chosen to run white affairs." But April Lewis, a 30-year-old Chicago State student, called the symposium an "Obama-bashing event." Smiley hopes both sides on the "black agenda" debate can eventually come together

Obama is not just the President of Black America. He is the President of all of America. Due to a majority of blacks that don't want to/can't vote, it took a large amount of "white" America to get Obama in office. So he has to be concerned with all of us. We are the only country that divides based on race. When we do what Mike said and start with the man in the mirror and start working to better our own communities, then and only then will we be satisfied witrh our lives. Don't put the burden of saving the world on one man.
