The controversy over Lady Gaga and Beyonce's "Telephone" video continues, this time with India Arie denouncing the clip for "going a bit too far." Arie writes on Twitter, "I agree Gaga is being her image...I dig her creative mind but still ... There's a such thing as socially irresponsible...It's not long before somebody does a straight naked video." Arie adds, "Crazy to me that the dark, underbelly, shock-at-all-cost thing is a trend like asymmetrical hair and big shoulder jackets."

Some of Arie's followers don't agree with her. One wrote, "Social responsibility for what? Get real. Love you but you're out of line," while another responded, "Nudity? LOL Who cares about nudity. It's the context!"

India' right! I'm sick of shock value just for the sake of getting your name out there! Yes there is such a thing a being socially responsible, and everyone wonders what's wrong with the kids nowadays! Look at the so-called adults they have to look up to!
