With Suge Knight's murder trial close to getting under way, the former hip-hop mogul's attorney feels newly released evidence concerning Cle "Bone" Sloan will go a long way towards proving his client's innocence.
Sloan told the LAPD the day of the incident, "I was in a rage. I [messed] up. I get that cause a guy is dead behind this [stuff]." While he's made it clear he's not interested in snitching, the testimony seems to indicate the actor feels at least partially responsible for the murder of Terry Carter.
In another portion of the audio tape, however, Sloan states the Suge told him pointblank "I'm gonna kill you" and made attempts to reach for something that may have been a gun.
Suge claims it was all a set-up, that Bone and others were trying to do him in, and he gunned his truck to save his life, inadvertently running over Sloan and Carter.
Say What:
Suge needs all the favorable evidence he can get, since he's already guilty in the court of public opinion.
There are parts of this testimony that could help and hurt both sides in the case.
Just because he (allegedly) threatened to kill Sloan doesn't mean he wasn't acting in self-defense when he drove off.
Sloan says he doesn't want to snitch but it may already be too late.
