Stabbing at the Centennial Park on Memorial Day

First of all, the stabbing at Centennial Park on Memorial Day was not related to the 4th Annual Free Blues Concert.

The stabbing was unfortunately an altercation between two homeless men over food.

The stabbing victim is alive and well at Vanderbilt Hospital.

I know you probably thought what i was thinking.  Two old dudes got to fighting over a BBQ plate and someone took out their knife because old men that like the Blues usually have a knife on them.  See, back in the day, that's all you needed was a knife...not a damn AK-47 to solve your beef!

Alas, that was not the case and all is well with this awesome event!  Thank you Carol Jenkins for another fine affair!
