Nine people were arrested last night in St. Louis after protesters clashed with cops following the deadly police shooting of an 18-year-old black man.
According to police, Mansure Ball-Bey was shot and killed after he pointed a gun at two white policemen as they were trying to serve a search warrant at the house he was in. Police say Bey and another man ran from the house and police gave chase. That's when they say Bey turned around and pointed his gun at them. Both officers fired their guns and struck him.
The fatal shooting sparked demonstrations that continued into the night and turned violent at times. Protesters threw bottles at police and set a car on fire. Officers responded with tear gas. At the end of the night, nine people had been arrested.
