Realizing the Dream ft. Martin Luther King III and Dick Gregory – Music City Center – January 18th

This January, in celebration of the National Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday, Martin Luther King III will travel to Nashville for a special two-day series of events with the New Hope Foundation. During the events, MLK III will be joined by legendary comedian Dick Gregory and The New Hope Foundation President and Chair Person, Carol Criswell-Jenkins. The preliminarily planned events include a special celebration and tribute to the MLK Holiday, a special Meet & Greet Event, an interfaith celebration, a children’s book reading and more.

King will deliver the Keynote address in Nashville, TN, under the theme Realizing the Dream. He continues to underscore and further his father’s work, focused on addressing and eradicating what Dr. King referred to as the Triple Evils: Poverty, Racism and Militarism/Violence and asking the urgent question of “What we are personally and collectively doing to realize his father’s dream?”
