Rapper News: GAME's Album Stopped AGAIN/Drake On Top/Paul Wall has surgery (he's almost 300 lbs.)

After five different release dates, Game's R.E.D. Album may be delayed again. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Desperado Entertainment filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles federal court earlier this week, alleging that Universal Music Group, Interscope, Aftermath Entertainment and ARY, Inc. owe them a portion of the licensing and publishing income from the rapper's albums. Desperado claims they discovered Game and that they've been cut out of development for the album, due August 24th. The company is seeking an injunction on the album, unspecified damages and $275,000 in advance payment for sales from R.E.D. Reps at Universal did not return our calls for comment.

As expected, Drake's long-awaited debut album, Thank Me Later, debuts at number one this week, according to Billboard. The disc sold 447,000 copies its first week out, becoming the third-best sales week of the year for a single album (following Sade and Lady Antebellum). The Now Music 34 compilation is at number three. Justin Bieber's My World 2.0 drops a slot to number seven and Christina Aguilera's Bionic dips six places to number nine.

After failed attempts to control his weight on his own, Paul Wall reveals he recently underwent life-saving gastric bypass surgery. The rapper says he reached 320 pounds and was considered to be "morbidly obese" by his doctors. Paul tells BallerStatus.com, "I tried doing it the legit way. I stopped sippin' syrup, stopped taking pills ... all that, but it ain't work. [The surgery] saved my life for real."
