R Kelly's Transgender Child...Jaya!

R. Kelly has not commented about his 14-year old daughter Jaya becoming a transgender male, however, the child's mother, Andrea Drea Kelly, says she fully supports the decision.

Andrea Kelly, who was divorced from the singer in 2009, wrote on Twitter, “That's my baby til the day I die. NOTHING AND NO THING will ever change MY LOVE...A MOTHER'S LOVE! She added, “MY LOVE, A MOTHER’S LOVE, is UNCONDITIONAL… LIKE GOD’S LOVE FOR ALL OF US!” She is currently featured on the TV series Hollywood Exes.

Jaya, who is now known as Jay, revealed his transition on his Ask.fm profile. Jay wrote, “My mom was like, 'Baby, you know I love you if you were bi, gay, lesbian, you name it and I would still love you so much. She was very proud of me, I was like, 'Thank you mom for accepting the fact that I’m a transgender.' And same with my sister, she told me that she was proud of me, and respects me by calling me handsome and calling me her little brother now, and I love her for that, so you know it was great for me.”

Jay plans to undergo gender realignment surgery to complete his transition.
