OSCAR PISTORIUS: Early Prison Release Coming In August

South African track star Oscar Pistorius will be released on parole in August after serving just 10 months of his five-year sentence for killing his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.

Pistorius was convicted last year of culpable homicide but acquitted of murder. The prosecution is appealing the murder acquittal and the case will return to court in November. If prosecutors succeed in their appeal, Pistorius could be going back to prison for the rest of his life. Otherwise, he'll continue to live as a free man. (Bleacher Report)

Say What:

    This is ridiculous. How can they let him out after only 10 months? He shot and killed his girlfriend.

    Maybe the prosecution will do a better job in their appeal and send him away for a longer period of time.
