NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- If you have dreams of making it big, this may be your chance to finally get noticed.

"American " producers are going to Nashville on Saturday, July 17. That's the first audition for the next season. And there's a change: The age range is now from 15 to 28, instead of starting at 16.

Auditions will be held at Bridgestone Arena. Wristbands will be given out from about 7 a.m. Thursday, July 15, until about 8 a.m. Saturday, July 17. Auditioners will not be allowed to camp out. Once they get their wristbands, they'll be asked to return to the arena by 5 a.m. Saturday, July 17.
