NFL'S ARREST STREAK LIVES ON, DESPITE EARLIER REPORTS

Remember last week when it was widely reported that the NFL went the entire month of September without one of its players getting arrested, and how it was the first time it could boast of such an achievement since July 2009? Well, about that.

It turns out those reports were a little premature. Tennessee Titans rookie wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham was arrested during a traffic stop in Missouri on September 30th. The NFL had come so close to ending its streak of 79 straight months with a player arrest.

Green-Beckham was pulled over for speeding and the officer discovered that he had an outstanding warrant for a previous unpaid speeding ticket. He was arrested and held briefly before he paid his ticket and was released. So the streak lives on. (Yahoo)
