I dont have a problem with you letting people know. The writer had poor literal elements meaning it could have been written in a better way...more tasteful. As we should all know (as grown folk by now) choose your words wisely....especially when you have this type of standing.

I will take it down if it has offended his family.  As a matter of fact, someone from his family contacted me to say thanks for making the announcement on the air and that they'd provide funeral arrangement information later this week.  I promise you, we have nothing but love for Jason...We are all here hurting too.

I must say, the literal element of this posting is completely and utterly disappointing!!  Regardless that this person has worked with you in this city for such a long time, it is completely disrespectful to Jason, his family/friends and for others to see this news for laid out this way. This news is completely brand new to me and HE WAS MY COUSIN!  I pray your writers and web admin gain more common sense the next time you choose to share such information!
