Da Brat Ordered to pay 6.7 Million For That Bottle Attack!

Rapper Da Brat must pay 6.4 million dollars to a woman she attacked with a rum bottle at an Atlanta-area nightclub in 2007.

The verdict was reached Thursday in a civil lawsuit brought by the victim, Shayla Stevens, against Da Brat, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Da Brat, whose birth name is Shawntae Harris, must pay 3.7 million dollars in compensatory damages and 2.7 million in punitive damages.

Da Brat is on probation for the attack, for which she served nearly three years in prison.

An attorney for Stevens tells The Atlanta Journal-Constitution the victim is a "brain injury survivor" and has a scar on her face as a result of the incident.
