My Question Is: How Did He Make It Out of the Room ALIVE!

Republican leaders in central Illinois are calling on Al Reynolds -- their own candidate for state senate -- to step down following racist remarks he made at a candidate's forum last week.

Reynolds, a Tea Party favorite in Illinois' 52nd District, has been lying low since he said that African American men preferred dealing drugs to going to college because it is "easier."

His statements, delivered at a function sponsored by the NAACP, of all things, completely silenced the room.

What a dumb@$$. Folks deal drugs due to following things: 1.) lack of job opportunties (thanks to min. wage, regulation, and high(er) local taxes, 2. ) Hip Hop culture glorifies this non-sense, 3.) crappy public schools

Add all of that to the fact that our gov't makes it "lucrative"----and you have a holocaust of the inner-city community. Bull Conner couldn't think of a better recipe.

Good on the GOP for damage-control, thought. NAACP were prob. more than happy to hear this dumb @$$ say that. Maybe they can release another report on the tea party instead of real problems that affect the AA community.

peace
