MC REN: Blasts Universal for Straight Outta Compton Movie Promo

One of the members of the world’s most dangerous group, N.W.A, feels the upcoming bio-pic isn’t giving him the respect he deserves.

MC Ren, a founding member of the iconic group, took to Twitter on Wednesday to make it clear he wasn’t happy about being left out of the trailer for Straight Outta Compton, which focuses primarily on Ice Cube, Eazy E and Dr. Dre, omitting the lesser known Ren and DJ Yella. Ren wrote, in stronger language than can be said on the radio, “Man [screw] these bitches at Universal Pictures leaving me out of the movie trailers trying to rewrite history…when I don’t promote this [crap] y’all know why.”

He continued his tirade, writing, "When you have b!tches work on a hip hop film that don't know [anything] about hip hop this is what happens. How the hell u leave me out after all...The work I put into them records. It's disrespectful to me, my family and most of all my FANS.”

Just in case executives didn’t get the point or couldn’t be bothered to read, posted a photo on Instagram of himself standing with the late Eazy E and giving the camera a double-finger salute.

Say What:

You can’t make a Beatles movie and just leave out George and Ringo because John and Paul are more famous.

It’s just a trailer — they’re trying to use the biggest names and boldest characters.

    It’s clear there’s a hierarchy.

Meanwhile, Dr. Dre seems to be the one getting left out of the upcoming N.W.A live reunion.

Hey, he better be glad that Wendy Williams isn’t doing the biopic of N.W.A.
