Martez Burks: A FlyMajor.com club promoter releases his first book entitled, Memoirs of a Gentleman in Nashville, TN

TN, March 17, 2010: Martez Burks is a Milwaukee born author who has made a stamp in the Nashville club promotions scene as one of the front runners of FlyMajor.com. This promoter turned author is aggressively taking the novelist world by storm with this debut book entitled Memoirs of a Gentleman. Martez will be hosting his first book signing March 24, 2010 between the hours of 12noon- 2:00pm at the Tennessee State University's bookstore 3500 John A. Merritt Blvd. Nashville TN.

Memoirs of a Gentleman is especially geared towards young adults and collegiate students. Each scenario that comprises the paperback represents a gentleman at a different stage in maturity.


"Memoirs of a Gentleman began as a conversational piece, but as time progressed, it matured into mini scenarios. Each situation involves a personal occurrence that ties to my experiences in life, either directly or indirectly. This Memoir is a tool to assist in providing some form of navigation to understanding the opposite sex", Martez Burks.


About the Author

Martez is a self-proclaimed gentleman making moves in the melting-pot of the entertainment industry as a club promoter with FlyMajor.com. His life consists of ongoing meetings with who's who of urban elite Nashville society and countless interactions with women, which he used as the basis for his memoir.

Martez is currently a Graduate student at Tennessee State University, pursuing his Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology. Upon graduation, Martez hopes to earn his Doctorate Degree and make the New York Times Best Sellers list.
