LIL BOOSIE PLEADS NOT GUILTY TO MURDER CHARGES BUT FACES ADDITIONAL CHARGES *SMH*

Appearing in a Louisiana courtroom yesterday for less than five minutes, Lil Boosie entered a plea of not guilty to murder charges. The rapper born Torrence Hatch, faces first degree murder in the death of 35-year-old Terry Boyd in October 2009. Boosie's attorney, Marcus Allen, told a local news station, "I think he meant what he said. He's absolutely not guilty. We're just going to prepare for his defense and get ready to address the charges."

Lil Boosie -- who could face the death penalty if is convicted of first degree murder -- is also accused of smuggling codeine and marijuana pills into Hunt Correctional Institute with the help of an ex-correctional officer and his girlfriend.
