KENDRICK LAMAR: Battling Drake a Waste of Time?

Ever since Kendrick Lamar mentioned Drake in his verse on Big Sean’s “Control,” everyone has been trying to dissect the Compton rapper's lines to see if he was taking shots at Drake. And more recently, Kendrick's verse on Jay Rock’s “Pay For It” has had bloggers, journalists and fans saying he's coming for Drizzy. 

But according to Kendrick, it isn't happening. 

He tells DJ Whoo Kid,“We come from two different worlds, two different backgrounds. I don’t really see that playing out. It’s entertaining maybe to the people listening, but not for myself.”

And Drake doesn't seem to have any beef with Kendrick either. This summer, he said, “That’s one of the hardest [dudes] alive right there. He’s legendary, so shout out to him.”
