The Donald Sterling saga may just be a bad memory, but there's still trouble lingering around the Los Angeles Clippers.
Blake Griffin, the team's star forward has been charged with misdemeanor battery related to a scuffle that occurred last month at a Las Vegas nightclub.
In the case filed in Las Vegas Justice Court, 39-year-old Daniel Schuman claims that Griffin squeezed his shoulder and hand and/or slapped him in the face. The beef allegedly started because Schuman was trying to photograph Griffin at the Venetian's Toa nightclub.
The Clippers had no comment on the news.
Griffin is due in court on December 8th at the Las Vegas Regional Justice Center.
He could face up to six months in jail and/or a $1,000 or community service instead of jail time.
