KATHIE LEE GIFFORD: Says Bill Cosby Made Pass At Her

Kathie Lee Gifford says she hopes the rape accusations against Bill Cosby aren't true and she's not rushing to judgement, but the stories many of his accusers are telling have made her think a lot about her own encounters with the comedy legend.

This morning on the Today show, Kathie Lee spoke about the two years she spent as Cosby's opening act back in the late '70s. She recalls him being very kind and generous and never saw him act inappropriately with women. However, she did admit that there was one time he made a pass at her and tried to kiss her. But she told him she wasn't interested and he backed off, and she never really thought much about it after that.

But hearing some of his accusers, like model Beverly Johnson, describe how they were given drinks and cappuccinos spiked with drugs, brought back one clear memory for her. She says that each time she walked off the stage before his set, he would have a cappuccino waiting for her.
