Barbara McKinzie, the head of the Chicago chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, will keep her post. Earlier this week a Washington judge dismissed a lawsuit filed by members of the nation's oldest black sorority seeking her removal over alleged financial misdeeds. In her ruling, Superior Court Judge Natalia M. Combs Greene criticized the plaintiffs for making "hyperbolic allegations riddled with buzz words." The plaintiffs' attorney says his clients may consider appealing.
