JAY-Z: Takes the High Road With Hammer/Considers Running For President
Jay-Z has finally responded to MC Hammer's "Better Run, Run" video threat, but he's taking the high road. Hova tells DJ Semtex that not only did Hammer take his verse the wrong way, but that he actually spoke highly of the Bay Area rapper in his new book, Decoded. Jigga also feels that he wasn't the first person to mention Hammer's finances, and that Hammer was probably upset because Jay has an influential reach with his words. |
Jay-Z may have his sights set on the White House. He tells the BBC he might run for president in 2018. He's also among the Americans who are a little disappointed in President Obama. But he says, "In order to judge someone, you have to judge what they inherit." Hova's autobiography, Decoded, is due out this month.
