JASON PIERRE-PAUL: NFL Player Injured by Fireworks

Jason Pierre-Paul, a defensive end for the New York Giants, was reportedly sent to intensive care in Florida after suffering a serious hand injury while lighting fireworks Saturday. According to an unsourced tweet, JPP has "flesh missing...and partially missing fingers."

This mishap could derail the 26-year-old's career. He was due to sign a one-year 2015-'16 contract worth nearly $15 million with the Giants.
