Is James Brown's Casket Empty??? Hmmm....

An illegitimate daughter of James Brown's caused a ruckus over the weekend by claiming that the Godfather of Soul's body had been stolen from his crypt to prevent an autopsy -- a charge disputed by the rest of his family.

LaRhonda Pettit told London's Mirror, "I'm convinced his death was suspicious. I want those responsible brought to justice." But the Brown family countered with a statement saying, "The rumor of our dad's body missing is not true and we do not know where Ms. Pettit would have received such information."

Pettit wasn't mentioned in Brown's will, which caused a long court fight among his survivors.
